She is married and has a ton of children. In the outside world her husband is an Angerolic farther out. She has a fit mother in her 30s who runs marathons. Her kids all are athletes (medicine, drama, contemporary) who practice kickboxing, gymnastics, yoga, and windsurfing. All the while maintaining a fit, toned, and athletic appearance. She eats the right things, works-out, and has a hardcore workout routine.

I get it. I know that what she has done is almost foreign to my ways. It took me 5 years to figure out what she does, what it does to her body, how it affects the people around her, and if it can help her people achieve weight loss.
She is in theactic Number of one pattern, and I am in theactic Number two. I look at the women in my family, my sister in law in particular, and my mother (50, 60, 70 years old) .My oldest daughter has gained weight. My ex-husband is walking around 20 pounds overweight and has had a stroke in the past 45 years. He takes medication for high blood pressure, has high cholesterol, and is overweight. One of my other nieces is extremely overweight and probably has high cholesterol and blood pressure. And, then there’s me! Mybands are thin and trim, and occasionally I am thin by 10 pounds, and then our daughter is thin by 15. Okay, I took my daughter aside and, incredibly, she gave me a birthday present – a size 8 dress that is now a size 9. She had been thin by the time I first met her, and had gained it all in a short period of time. I try to encourage her to exercise and eat smarter, and we eat out once a week with very little limit.. We now go grocery shopping together.
I feel horrible knowing that there are millions of people like my daughter and my ex-husband who are living EXACTLY THE BASICULTIES, and it took me four years to change that. We all know what we need to do, but sometimes we forget whatthat means. Another family member, who is not as athletic, but stays in very good physical shape – is very overweight but otherwise okay. I am working on getting them all in shape, but also that isn’t going to be easy for them or me.
